Day 1: Arrive Delhi |
Arrive Delhi transfer to your hotel. This afternoon you will proceed on a sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi, visiting the Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar - tallest stone tower in India, Raj Ghat and the Red Fort & Jama Masjid. Day 2: Delhi - Agra |
This morning you will be transferred by road to the Mughal city of Agra (206 kms / 3.5 hrs) This afternoon you visit the Agra Fort, built by the great Emperor Akbar and the spectacular Taj Mahal, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Evening free for shopping. Stay overnight. |
Day 3: Agra - Jaipur |
Early this morning you will be transferred by road to the pink city of Jaipur (230 kms / 5 hrs), enroute you will visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted red sandstone city built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar. Proceed to your hotel with the rest of the day at leisure OR take an optional tour of the ethnic Rajasthani village of Chokhi Dhani. Stay overnight. |
Day 4: Jaipur |
This morning visit the Amber fort, built in the 16th century, enjoy an elephant ride at Amber. Drive past the Hawa Mahal, and visit the City Palace and museum, walk to the adjacent Jantar Mantar Observatory. Stay overnight. |
Day 5: Depart Jaipur |

On arrival at Jaipur Airport/ Railway station, welcome and transfer to hotel Afternoon we will go on an excursion to Amber fort, where you will enjoy the elephant ride from the foothills to the Fort gate. The fort has some beautiful courtyards and palaces to see. Overnight stay in the hotel. |
Day 02: Jaipur |
In the morning, go on a guided sightseeing tour of Jaipur, the Pink City. The highlights of the tour are City Palace and its museum, Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar. In the afternoon, explore the markets of Clock Tower and Sardar Market for famous handicrafts of Jaipur such as handmade block-printed textiles, enameled blue pottery and tie and dye apparels. You can also try traditional Rajasthani cuisine such as Dal Bati, Churma and Bajare Ki roti at Rajasthani Village. Overnight stay at the hotel. |
Day 03: Jaipur- Ranthambore |
After breakfast, drive to Ranthambore National Park (185 kms/ 4 hrs). Take a short halt at a hotel in Sawai Madhopur to freshen up and have lunch. You will embark on a jeep safari from here and explore the forests of Ranthambore to spot the wildlife here such as tigers, monkeys, langurs, alligators and hundreds of bird species. Overnight stay at the Ranthambore wildlife resort. |
Day 04: Ranthambore- Bharatpur |
In the morning, drive to Bharatpur bird sanctuary( 250 kms/ 6 hrs), which is considered a paradise for bird watchers. There are about 400 species of birds identified here including migratory birds such as the Siberian Cranes. Overnight at Bharatpur. |
Day 05: Bharatpur- Jaipur/Delhi |
